After initial contact through a phone conversation or email, a meeting will be arranged to visit the person we will be supporting, along with any family members or friends who are very welcome to attend.
The meeting will be with Hayley and the assistant chosen to provide your support.
This is a free consultation with no obligation. It's a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other and discuss your needs in more detail.
If you want us to provide practical care, we can organise a time slot during this meeting. This time slot will stay the same unless we are notified of a need to change it. . We are then ready to start as soon as you need us.
All of our Home Fairy assistants have an up to date DBS check and are fully insured.
We will arrange the same assistant for each visit, unless in the case of absences or holiday, where we will provide cover from another Home Fairy if required.
No, you can relax and leave it to us. If we are supporting you with any cleaning help, we will always make sure we have everything we need - although we do ask to use your vacuum cleaner, which we are happy to empty and clean. We can also use your mop and bucket or anything else you have that you’d like us to use to cleans floors.
If for any reason you would like us to use a particular product then we are, of course, more than happy for you to supply us with this. It is also your responsibility to make us aware of any products you may have a reaction to so we know to use an alternative.
Please pay your assistant on the day of their visit in cash or cheque. If you’d prefer, though, Hayley can send you a monthly invoice to be paid by bank transfer.
Hayley will be your central point of contact and is always more than happy to take your call with any questions or concerns.
We are constantly monitoring our performance and so feedback, of any kind, is always extremely important to us.
If there is ever a time you are not satisfied, please let us know and we will do our very best to resolve any concerns.
